Her panache, versatility and sophisticated repertoire - including Berlin cabaret songs and the dark gems of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill - have led her to international acclaim as a recording artist, and in the theatre, cabaret and film worlds. Tonight’s journey leads through the French song world from Ferre, Piaf to Prevert and Brel and continues to the backstreets of Berlin , where ancient ghosts with new faces write poetry and songs between yesterday and tomorrow.
