XIX is a new project by electronic trumpeter Ben Neill featuring vocalist Mimi Goese (Moby, Hugo Largo). Ambient electronics sampled from 19th century music are combined with Mimi’s hauntingly beautiful voice, the futuristic sounds of Neill’s mutantrumpet and interactive video by artist Bill Jones controlled by Neill’s electronically modified horn. Bassist John Conte and drummer Jim Mussen add deep live grooves to the mix.
